Major Life Events

Early Life

Iwa was born on Wontober 20, 23 BI. Her homeland is The Crossing, the narrow strip of land dividing the freshwater Youbee Sea from the larger salt water Turhys Sea.

Iwa was the eldest daughter of Louis, a winemaker and The Crossing’s mayor. She was raised to take the family business.

Sessa and the Amethyst Tomahawk

The last nine Turhys had been frequent visitors to The Crossing for the previous one hundred years, and they returned to The Crossing to magically manipulate some of young humans to create their successors. Iwa and Sessa, the mother of the Vahnrhys, became good friends, and Sessa chose Iwa to become an Imrhys. Iwa accepted, and she became one of the First Nine Imrhys. Sessa also gave Iwa the Amethyst Tomahawk, one of the items of light.

Vampires

Year 1 AI was spent at The Crossing as the aging Turhys trained the young Imrhys. At the end of Yakuter, a large number of Vampires descended upon The Crossing. The Turhys were in danger of being overrun when the Imrhys stepped in with the weapons of light. Iwa battled hand to hand with Nights’maran, the father of the Goth Vampires. He was wounded and fled, leaving his children to stall. The Vampires were soundly beaten that night.

Iwa married Noi, a young man of The Crossing, (Noon Year 1, 4) and had three children, two sons – Sota (born 5 AI) and Consiv (born 7 AI) – and one daughter – Laska (born 14 AI).

As the years went by, Noi and the children aged, but Iwa did not. None of the Imrhys did. They all appeared to be unaging, At age 50, Iwa still looked 20. Iwa decided that she had many more important things to do besides make wine. She left the winery in Noi’s and Consiv’s hands, and started to travel the seas of the Achar. Sota and Laska joined her. After several years, Iwa, Sota, and Laska founded Hunt City and settled there.

As more time when by, Iwa's immediate family aged and died. She continued to follow her family line both on the Seefell continent and in the Isles of Hovde.

Wescon

In 132 AI, Iwa sensed that a new Imrhys had Awakened in the Isles of the Hovde. She hurried to Hunt City and discovered that her great-great-great grandson Wescon was the new Imrhys. She took her descendent under wing and started training him. The two travelled together for the better part of a century, chasing down vampires and Dathrhys.

The Death of Iwa

Iwa was always a little manic about tracking down Nights'maran, the Father of the Goth Vampires and the first vampire she ever faced. Iwa and Wescon tracked down the new home of the Goth Vampires on Gimlund. They seemingly destroyed the lair, but then Iwa was ambushed and killed by the Goths. Wescon senses this and is ambushed as well, but was saved by the magical power of the Amethyst Tomahawk. Wescon destroyed many of the vampires who attacked him, but Nights'maran escaped again.

Iwa was the first of the Imrhys to die. Her remains were brought back to Hunt where her body was enshrined. Her remains disappeared during the reign of the Gotts, who tried to erase all records of the Imrhys.
