Early Life

Ka’Senne was born on Santil 4, 8465 in Ipsenne. Her parents are the rulers of Ipsenne: Bilbur, one of the First Nine Imrhys, and Lilyjean, a First Age Imrhys. She had four Imrhys siblings: three brothers Jon’Sen, Jim’Sen, and Jo’Ip; and a sister, Je’Neene.

Dekra, one of the First Nine Imrhys, was slipping deeper and deeper into depression. In an attempt to keep Dekra around functioning, Bilbur makes Dekra Ka’Senne’s godfather. Dekra returned from his self-imposed exile and took the child into his arms. While holding Ka’Senne, Dekra had a flash of the Boding Time Sense and saw the rising of Warez and the Third and Fourth Gnarrhys Wars. Dekra returned to North Loyalund, never to travel east again.

The task of raising Ka’Senne fell to Je’Neene, her sister. Ka’Senne traveled extensively throughout Ipsenne with her sister. Je’Neene was the treasurer of Ipsenne and the CEO of the Merchant Guild. Ka’Senne was exposed to people from many different countries. She became interested in these other people, and wanted to expand the horizons of Ipsenne.

This went directly against the standing orders of her parents. Bilbur had instituted a strict isolationist policy since the First Gnarrhys War. The willful Ka’Senne challenged him on this. She was forced to stop traveling with Je’Neene and remained at the royal palace.

Awakening

While she moped around the Palace, she seemed to hear a voice. She tried to ignore it, but it wouldn’t go away. She went to her father’s throne room. Above Bilbur’s throne was the Copper Shield. Ka’Senne was drawn to it. She reached up and took the Shield off the wall. As she did, the Shield triggered her Awakening. Lightning exploded off of both Ka’Senne and the Shield.

Bilbur was shocked that the Shield had chosen another, but he accepted it. He began listening to what his youngest daughter had to say. He allowed her to become the Ipsenne Ambassador. She started to travel around the Achar and gathered information about the world outside of Ipsenne.

The Third Gnarrhys War

During the Third Gnarrhys War, Ka’Senne fled back to Ipsenne. She and Je’Neene found the wrecked ship that Davez and Deenev had fled on. They took the Second Age Imrhys to one of the medical station that their brother Jo’Ip had set up to handle the many refugees attempting to flee the Knife Thrower.

When the khobalds fell under the influence of the Knife Thrower, Ka’Senne learned how to block the Knife Thrower’s psychic sendings. Ipsenne is one of the few countries with a khobald population. The Ipsenne government is very quiet about this fact.

Ipsenne was largely untouched by the Third Gnarrhys War. After the War, Ka’Senne went out and up to Seefell and aided in the rebuilding process. In doing so, she opened avenues for her sister’s work as the treasurer and CEO of the Merchant Guild. Under their stewardship, Ipsenne has become one of the wealthiest countries on the Achar.

Innux

In the early part of the Sixth Age, Ka’Senne came under the influence of the Dathrhys Lord Innux. When she realized what he was, she attempted to rebel but she was too weak. She was imprisoned for many years until Je’Neene and Dykstra found her. They spirited her off to Ipsenne, where she spent a decade recovering from her ordeal. She carefully started traveling again.
