The Stone Rook is a Fifth Age Imrhys Man. He is currently the Democratically Elected President of the Stone Rookery Major Life Events
Jason was born on Quetz 28, 10985 in the city of Demos in the Perlic Empire on the island continent of Coronial. Jason was an outspoken proponent of democracy. This irritated the Emperor Basil Perlic, the current ruler of Coronial. In 11005, the emperor started to round up the malcontents. He opened the coliseum and started to set the political malcontents against several different wild animals. On Jazzuary 2, 11005, Jason and the others from Demos are captured and taken to the coliseum. They are put into the coliseum on the 8th and forced to fight fierce raptors. Soon, Jason was the only one left with the raptors toying with him. The pack leader finally leapt at Jason for the killing blow. Rather than fleeing, Jason met the attack head-on. No one was as surprised as he was when the lead raptor clawed him and he survived due to a hard rocky armor that had spontaneously grown on him. The raptors shrank away from the newly Awakened Imrhys as a ring shudder rattled the whole island continent. A volcano erupted from the space where Jason was standing. Lava started to fill the coliseum, and the spectators fled. Feeling responsible for the raptors, Jason created large rocks underneath them and freed them from the coliseum. Jason was engulfed in the red hot lava, but was protected by the rocky hard armor. He swam out of the lava. Once out of the lava, he shed his rocky form and fled into north. Emperor Basil Perlic sent soldiers to track down and kill the newly Awakened Imrhys. Jason is caught sleeping, but the raptors who he had saved from the volcano attack the soldiers, saving Jason’s life. Jason rallied the population under the name the Stone Rook and led them in a revolution against Basil Perlic. The Perlic Empire fell on Santil 11, 11006. Kerkove, the Duke of Erickdom from the Zierathan Alliance, found the Stone Rook and led the young Imrhys to Hunt where he was apprenticed to Daveed. Jason brought his pride of raptors with him. As his original raptors started to die, the Stone Rook decided to do more for their descendents. He searched for one of the Turhys who had originally created the Animen. The Rook finally found Ambrose, the Father of the Ferhys, in the Forest of Zierath. Ambrose taught him and helped him transform the raptors from beasts into sentient beings named the Valcepton. Fifty years after his leaving, the Stone Rook returned and found Coronial in chaos. Dozens of warlords had set themselves up throughout the land. He convinced four city-states – Demos, Hard Rock, Cago, and Luther to start a republic. He is elected the first president. He serves for three terms, and then pulled away to make room for others. He remained active in politics, and two hundred years later, he became president again. He is elected on-and-off for hundreds of years. In 12832, the Stone Rook drives several vampires off his island and trails them back to Lemark Island, a small island between Kerkovia and Deanne. More importantly, the father of the Imiati, Gyshouto himself, was on the island. Kerkove contacted DeeDee, Czarina of Deanne, and the Stone Rook, ruler of the Stone Rookery. They coordinated a massive attack on the island. On Ronolom 1, the combined forces of Kerkovia, Deanne, and the Stone Rookery invaded Lemark Island. Almost every vampire on the island was destroyed. Gyshouto was killed by a crossbow bolt shot by DeeDee, and Kerkove destroys Gyshouto’s first children – Brymiel and Allisindra. In 13,708, the Fourth Gnarrhys War starts, and the Stone Rook is in the midst of it. The first three books - Castle Zierath, The Basalt Mace, and The Stone Dees - cover this time period.
