History: Nathan Thomas used to be a part of D.I.R.T. (Drake International Reconsruction Team). The company basically handed any cases that had to do with fossils, rock structures, formations, and any other underground anomalies there were to find. However, what Nate and the team did not know was that they were only formed for one task: To find the Earthsuit. It was said that there was a suit engraved in the earth that gave one the ability to practically put the earth at his fingertips. Drake was given the responsibility of finding the Earthsuit for the Countess Crey; and because D.I.R.T. was sponsored by Crey Industries, Drake obliged. Being of evil intentions himself, it was never a problem to do her bidding. One night as Nate was finishing up a cleanup after a late-night find, which happened to be nothing but a pair of gloves, he overheard shouting in one of the tents nearby. Now, nothing ever really happened in this line of work so drama was welcomed. He crept by the tent to see what the fuss was all about. He heard Drake arguing with Countess Crey about the earthsuit. Nathan, as part of a clean-up operation, finds an ancient pair of gloves and puts them on. They turn out to be the key to the earthsuit. When Drake discovered that Nate had the gloves, he tried to take them by force and Nate fled.

Seven months later, after Nate had learned to control the earth controlling abilities of the gloves, he tracked Drake to Paragon University. He signed up to take a class from Drake, only to discover it was Drake's twin brother.

Powers: Elumien is able to use his magical abilities in various ways. He has been witnessed to break into a building by taking a door out of the wall, frame, hinges, and all.

Elumien has also picked up some knowledge of mechanics and electronics. He was able to revive a Clockwork.

History: At his undisclosed but unnaturally advanced age, very little shocks or startles him. though not immensely strong, he is fit enough for a man 1/10th his age, a legacy of his once having served as a paladin in the armies of his home nation. he's from an alternate reality, to which he finds himself unable to return.

At some point, be became acquainted with Stryk, a demon.

Elumien has a connection to Nicholas Dent and has come to Dent's assistance more than once.

Elumien joined Dent's team that went into Boomtown to ask Dent's old Outcast mentor Oscar about a price on Dent's head. He was extremely disappointed when Dent apparently killed Oscar. Elumien was not aware that Shadow Marshall, then possessed by the Paragon Stalker, had killed another Outcast.

Elumien offered to help Shadow Marshall exorcise the ghost attached to him, not realizing that the ghost was actually Shadow Marshall while the soul driving the body was that of the Paragon Stalker.

When the Dark Harrier, Tick-Tok and Dent questioned who had killed the second Outcast, they realized that it had to be Shadow Marshall.

The Zigg morgue called Dark Harrier and let him know about the dead Outcast. He and Tick-Tok went to the morgue where Tick-Tok revealed that it had been the possessed Shadow Marshall who had killed the Outcast. Through some quick detective work, Harrier, Tick-Tok, Dent, and Elumien figure out that the body belonged to the Paragon Stalker, and that currently the Stalker and Ishtara are out playing pool. The heroes start planning how to get the Marshall back in the body, and how to keep Ishtara safe.

The Stalker was 'playing' with Ishtara, trying to lull her into complete relaxation to fully betray her and to see it in her eyes as he killed her, but she received a mental call from Elumien, and they hurried back to the Whitmoore. Elumien explained what was going on, who the Shadow Marshall really was.

When Isthara and the Stalker got back, Ishtara was taken into a room with Elumien, but Nick confronted the Stalker knew he was found out, stalling for time as Elumien readied the spell. To fully control the spirits, Elumien summoned Styk, a demon who was able to see souls.

Ishtara went to help Nick, but the Stalker took her hostage. Elumien and his ally burst in, and with that distraction, Ishtara was able to teleport away, still receiving a gash on her cheek. Using her dark tendrils, she bound the Stalker into place, and Stryk was able to overpower the Stalker both body and soul. Stryk took the Stalker's soul to hell, and the Shadow Marshall was put back into the body.

Elumien collapsed after the fight, completely drained. Nick put him into bed. Elumien awoke several hours later, feeling a little refreshed. He went down into the lobby where he saw Tick-Tok lying on the floor. His two human eyes saw a little Clockwork, but his third eye saw the human soul attached to Tick-Tok. Suddenly concerned for the little Clockwork, Elumien did a quick fix and brought Tick-Tok back on-line. He stopped the hero Mountain Blitz from destroying the Clockwork with a soul.

Five members of the Column followed the Dark Harrier to the Whitmoore, where he was helping Riley with a stalled elevator. The soldiers attacked. In the melee, Riley and Elumien were badly wounded, and two of the soldiers were killed.

Tick-Tok found the information as to where the Clockwork King's new lair was. Gathering a force that included Elumien, Riley, and Dark Harrier, they headed back into Boomtown to find the base. Completely obsessed with his vengeance, Tick-Tok charged into the base and the heroes were fighting for their lives. As Tick-Tok battled the Clockwork King, the ceiling collapsed on them.

As the ceiling collapsed on him, Elumien cocooned himself in ice and called out to god, any god, to help him. A Banished Pantheon Spirit of Pain answered his call and partially possessed the hero. He stepped into another dimension with the Spirit..

History: Ross MacBain is the eldest of three children. His great grandfather was the Emerald Claymore who fought in World War II.

When he was a junior in high school, Ross spent a semester in Scotland with his uncle's family. While visiting the family cript, he found the clan claymore. The magical weapon called out to him. He picked it up, and was magically transformed into the EmeraldClaymore.

The sword led him to Edinboro Castle, where he found the French mercenary Monsieur Noir getting set to blow up the castle. Ross stopped him, and Noir was turned over to Scotland Yard.

Ross returned to America, taking the Claymore with him. After he appeared in costume, the Scottish Parliment has sent out a formal complaint of the national treasures being removed from Scottish lands.

He went to Paragon University to major in pre-law. While there, he fell under the influence of Erik Gregory Winslow, the heir to Winslow Pharmaceuticals. Ross joined Winslow's frat and moved into the frat house.

Ross came upon Winslow and his four main syncophants giving several girls an amnesiac drug and then sexually assaulting them. Ross was about to call the police when they knocked him out and gave him a dose of the drug as well.

Ross met SteelDragon, Naephinx, and Dodo at one of the frat parties. Winslow arranged for a group of Trolls to attack the party so Winslow could get a few more coeds on film. Ross and the others fought off the Trolls, but the police showed him the video of Winslow and the four Synchophants with first them women and then dosing him. Ross turned against them.

He moved onto campus and a couple different roommates - Psykid and Total Animation. He also started a flirting relationship with Naephinx, but as soon as he met the Emerald Claymore Dee, his daughter from the future, he turned his attention to his daughter's mother Thevshi.

History: John Ballard was experimenting with his Dark Armor abilities. The darkness started taking control, and the hero Captain Quantum had to take him down. Ballard was delivered to the Crey Labs at near death.

The Crey scientists saw this as an opportunity to try out a new Paragon Protector serum. The Paragon Protector project was almost ready for release The first experiment had failed, which we later found out was because of a Kheldian symbiote inside the first subject. Ballard became Experiment 2.0

The scientist injected Ballard with the serum, and the dark armour covered himagain. Only, this time, his whole body turned into shadow, as a demon took his body's place. Apparently, his armour did not only have a mind of its own, it was possessed.

Ballard escaped out of one of the 50 floor window. He fired a spine, with some kinda wierd line attached to it, and used it like a grapple-hook. He swung over the edge of the roof, and he was gone.

He has had a several different armors, mostly to protect those around him and his own identity, including one that had water and flight powers. Another piece of equipment he has is an intelligent PDA that is able to link into hero computer system. He was constantly mutating and his powers kept changing as well.

As John Ballard became a reporter for the Paragon City Bugle and frequently used Experiment 2.0 as a focus for his stories.

Experiment 2.0 eventually came to live at the Whitmoore Apartment building in room 902. He was involved in Julia Wright's conflict with Hellfire. He helped Obsidian Omega and Point.Blank against Point.Blank's former gang the Outcasts. Looking up information on Point.Blank, he discovered that there was a warrent out for Point.Blank's arrest, and Experiment attacked him, but was quickly grounded by Omega.

Choosing to ignore Experiment, Point.Blank went into a warehouse for some food for Omega, but and then against Babbage.

Experiment was assaulted by some Outcasts and Nick came to his rescue.

Experiment mutated again, developing flight powers. He practiced flying and ended up crashing into the top of the Whitmoore next to Shadow Marshall, Ishtara, and Necronus just before the Clockwork King, Babbage, and the Clockwork attacked the Whitmoore. Experiment witnessed Necronus being torn in two by the Clockwork King, and was a little freaked out when he found Necronus alive the next day.
