History: Annabel Planck is a brilliant physics
researcher, but She tends to wander through life only partly
in the here-and-now, her brilliant but easily-distracted
mind never encountering a tangent it didn't like.
She has a research professorship at Paragon University,
specalizing in string theory and its implications for a
theory of quantum gravity. Mostly a researcher, she does
teach a couple of esoteric classes at the grad level, where
her rambling lecture style is either famous or infamous,
depending on your POV.
Her brilliance bled over to her secret identity of under.tow.
She spent time thinking about the magical teleportational
capability of the Tsoo Sorcerers. Her own research into
n-dimensional orbifolds - and her surrepetitious modifications
to her own metabolism - had revealed much about the translocation
of objects, and she had recently accomplished a breakthrough
with living beings. She had so far only risked this difficult
spatio-temporal manipulation with criminal suspects she
had been arresting as her alter-ego "under.tow,"
as she considered the action risky.
under.tow was one of the heroes at Paragon University who
responded to the need for heroes at the Fifth Column/Council
War. She was badly injured, but continued on to work. Lady
Almira was eventually called in to heal her.
