History: Brother Ronald Gearich was a teacher who tried to hold Erik Gregory Winslow to higher standards. Erik started drugging Brother Ronald and reducing his inhibitions. Ronald started to steal from the congregation, seducing his parishiners, and sneaking into the near-by nunnery. He was caught, jailed, and defrocked. Erik got the former priest out of jail, sent him to the Rogue Isles, and started using Ronald as his infomation gatherer and torturer.

Brother Ronald was summoned to torture Angelic Penance, but the true angelic nature broke through the conditioning, and Brother Ronald fled. He was found by the angel Xariel, who cleansed the drugs from his system. Together they rescued Angelic Penance.

History: Riv has a blue gem on his chest that holds the soul of a Greek Titan. He was a member a member of First Strike Security, along with fellow Whitmoore Resident The Haunt.

He moved into Whitmoore Apartments room 933, which Slipshod promptly put a hole into. Despite the rather rude introduction, Geariven befriended the young hero.

Geariven and his neighbor Julia Wright managed to save Slipshod's life when the slightly insane Sei thought he was her sister. The three of them and the young hero Falcon were gathered together to eat a spaghetti meal that Geariven had made when Michael Balthasar appeared and warned Julia that the Skull assassin Hellfire had been hired to kill her. Three other heroes joined their party - IceFlare, Deth Star, and Experiment 2.0.

As the party was dying down, Hellfire decided to make his move. He was dismayed to discover Geariven and Balthasar had not yet left, Deth Star, IceFlare and Experiment 2.0 returned, and another couple of heroes - Railbird and Dr. Medico - arrived and helped defeat Hellfire. Hellfire was about to escape when Julia killed the assassin.

This killing created a rift between Julia and the other heroes. Despite pleas from Geariven, Julia disappeared into the night.

Deth Star, who comes from the future knows an older and more experienced Geariven and calls him 'Uncle Riv.' She is in awe of him.

History: Gothika is a Cajun psionic, a special investigator of mental and spiritual phenomina for the Paragon Judiciary office.

She is a friend of Dark Harrier, and he brought her in for the situation with Shadow Marshall. She saw the Paragon Stalker get yanked out of the body and the soul of the Shadow Marshall put back in. She cleared the Shadow Marshall of all charges.

History: Dr. Lucius Grant was a co-worker of Dr. Helen Markov (AKA Steele Magnolia) at Crey Industries. When she quit Crey, the last thing she did was run over his toes with her wheelchair.

Crey and the Council were battling over the alloy Jadenium, Dr. Grant was caught in the crossfire, and was captured by Steele Magnolia. He agreed to cooperate and was offered a new identity.

History: Mr. Stanley Green is the doorman and manager of the Whitmoore Apartments. He is the one employee who stayed on salary after the Whitmoore became housing for heroes. He working the day at the front desk by the main doors. He's an elderly dapperly dressed gentleman with exceedingly good manners, discretion, and strong sense of decorum.

Mr. Green has become the surrogate parent for Slipshod and is helping him complete high school. He reviews incoming residents and is familiar with every resident and their idiosyncracies.

Distinguishing Features: dark olive/tan skin, to the point where he could be a white man living on a Pacific island; he favors a dark suit of almost formal clothing, thin frock coat, black pants and worn boots, white frilly tuxedo-like shirt. His left eye is surrounded by a pentacle tattoo which grants him some small mystical powers involving his sight. He has other tattoos of simliar nature on his body, not usually visible. Although he is actually nearly 60 years old, a magic potion taken before coming to Earth allows him to pass as a college student.

Meanwhile, Samheen finds himself stripped of most of his power. Earth's magical system is quite alien to his own world's, so Samhein has begun over again almost at an apprentice level, using Paragon University to relearn Earth's mystic systems. In his own dimension he was a wizardly teacher, so it's conceivable that he could adapt and return to his former abilites to both teach magic to others, and to construct and deconstruct magical items and enchantments. He is a Freshman, enrolled in various English-as-Second-Language courses as well as a wide spectrum of Earth magical systems studies.

A blessing from his God allows Samhein to understand any spoken Earth language, and to speak English fluently; he can also read any printed language, but may not understand its meaning. He can also see slightly into the infrared and ultraviolet. He is currently learning written English to write it natively. His contact with the Rod of Seven Parts, an artifact of Law, tends to place Samhein coincidentally in places where he is needed or where he can further his quests on Earth. Chance tends to behave strangely around him.

The first of his powers to return to him was undoubtly his power to heal others. A couple of days ago, nearly four years after the Rikti Invasion, Guardian Angel ignited the return of many other heroes, including LEM 15. In a burst white angelic light, he completely healed many heroes and even a few of them manage to wake a few other comatose heroes as well. While other powers are sure to return to this mysterious hero, even he is not sure what powers awaits him.

The hero has suffered a severe case of amnesia. Not knowing who he is or where he comes from has not stopped the hero from picking up where he left off. He has re-registered himself as a hero and wishes to help the helpless. Perhaps in his mission to help others, it will help him find himself.
