History: The Kai is a position. When a person is chosen to be the Kai, that person gives up their name for the immense psychic powers. The Kai is also completely subservient to Zendakara and subject to her whims.

History: Employee of Damage Control. He works hard at cleaning up after heroes - in particular the Flagg Brothers and Kid Valor especially. He at one time was the hero the Two Gun Kid.

When Necromancy Nancy corrupted Straight-Jacket and Kid Valor, and they destroyed a few buildings in their fight, Karl was the one who found Kid Valor and took him to safety.

History: Jeremy Lester was a street hood in Kings Row until he was injured in a robbery. A disbarred scientist found him and endowed him with superhuman powers to heal him. He can generate claws made of energy and also channel that energy into healing himself ... but he's still a bad seed. Months ago he'd been spotted in Kings Row, Atlas Park, and Galaxy City, attacking gang members and slicing them up for the fun of it. He left the name "Karve" carved into their fallen bodies as a calling card, and he was later arrested by the superhero R u s h.

Karve had sat in his prison cell in the Ziggurat, bored out of his freaking skull. Of course, that had changed once Arachnos agents had sprung him -- in fact, that part was pretty cool. He got to trade his prison orange for his traditional black-and-white leather, smack down some inmates who'd been giving him static for months, slay some guards, bomb a tower, and just generally stick it to The Man. According to reports, stolen drugs he'd taken during the breakout have altered his powers slightly and given him the ability to conceal himself at will.

Immediately upon arriving at his new Rogue Island stomping grounds, he was given mission upon mission by the local armored bugs (as he'd come to think of the Arachnos agents), which kept him busy for quite some time. Finally a quartermaster directed him to the Blakmoore Safehouse

History: Ka'Senne was an adventurer on another world when she and her dwarven companion Zinc Plumglum were sucked through an interdimensional vortex. She has found herself stuck in a world of technology. She hates machines. She and Zinc found Perez Park, and they have chosen that as a place to protect from the Skulls, the Hellions, and the Circle of Thorns. She has had several run ins with the Hydra, and fears the Kraken.

Recently she has helped Tail Kinker find her way out of Perez Park, and then met Cat Queen Emily and her parents.

History: BJ Kerkove was born to an white man and an Apache woman. His father was killed in an automobile accident when he was very young, and he was raised in Arizona by his mother and a maternal uncle.

Bright and inqisitive, BJ found that he was able to create little gadgets and kitbash out of many ordinary electronic devices. To keep his mind focused elsewhere, his uncle Ray introduced him to bow hunting, and BJ quickly out-did his uncle. He started combining his two loves and created many trick arrows.

He joined the US Army and became a first rate scout. At first teased because he brought his bow and trick arrows onto the field when scouting, he quickly silenced his critics and his enemies with the deadly bow.

He volunteered to join Captain Fletcher's Metaforces division. His closest friend there is Doc Mythos.

BJ was at the Mr. Green rescue mission in Boomtown. He shot Verde Lobo at the start of the mission.

History: Ken Killian was a police officer in Baumton when the Rikti struck. He and his partner Scott Frost fought them as long as they could and were two of the last officer forced to leave the suburb.

After the war, he joined the Ziggursky Prison security force. He rose through the ranks and became the Captain of the Guard.

During a massive jail break, Killian faced off against Z'Wrath. Z'Wrath used his radiation power and disintegrated Killian's arm. Killian barely survived. He now has a robotic arm.

It is unknown how long she fought for, but it has been determined that at some point the heroes were able to free the surviving townspeople. However, upon realizing the mutant nature of these two, the townspeople showed them only the back hand of their gratitude.

Carla has enrolled at Paragon University. She is currently taking Hero Studies 101 (with Dr. Johansson), Mutant Studies 115, Intro Social Science 101 and Physics 210 (with the Mad Doc). On her first day of class, she runs into - literally - Mark Hanes/SteelDragon. He shows her to her class.

She and Mark go on a date to the Tastee Diner later, then patrol together where they are joined by Mithril Zeta and Vixxen. They fight Hellions and Skulls.

History: Marcus Kirke is a mercenary. He is extremely meta-phobic, leading some to guess that he has ties to Malta.

He was incarcerated at the Zigguraut Prison on various charges. He escaped during a massive Arachnos led breakout. He booked a room at the Blakmoore, where his companion Jack was waiting. He controls Jack through her drug addiction.
